Post-menopausal women are at a heightened risk for fractures resulting from reduced bone mass. We were asked to create an intervention that would increase the number of fracture patients who receive the proper screening and care. The intervention is currently in clinical trials in Europe.
The Human-Centered Library
The University of Chicago's User-Centered Design for Entrepreneurs course allowed an inter-disciplinary team of students to think about the future of the university. Our project focused on reimagining the campus library.
Through mapping the value web, observing user behavior in campus library spaces, and speaking with stakeholders and users, we uncovered opportunities to make the library more relevant to knowledge acquisition and exploration.
Recently, the head of the University of Chicago libraries sent an email to the entire university referencing our idea that the library should be seen as a 'hub'.
